CDDC joins Corvallis League of Women Voters for program: “Sheltering our Unhoused Population – Are We Making Progress?”

On Wednesday, March 18, 2026, the Corvallis Day Time Drop-in Center’s Maria Gonzales joined Jacky Lee of 1000 Friends of Oregon and Rebecca Taylor of Benton County’s Coordinated Homeless Response Office for a discussing the current efforts to address houselessness in Benton County and examine where progress is being made — and where challenges remain.

Maria, Jacky and Rebecca each reflected on the problems their organizations are working to address and the progress each has made in the recent past. After their presentations, they took questions from the Corvallis community.
